Keith Somerville is a journalist, writer and academic who has made Africa his key focus for journalism, books and other writing.
A keen safari goer, he has been to most of the major safari destinations in Eastern, Central and Southern Africa and has a wide knowledge of wildlife, conservation and habitats. He has also been on lots of wildlife watching trips in Europe, Canada and the Caribbean.
While working at the BBC he made radio documentaries and wrote web features on conservation and wildlife.
